Each year, the US Department of State Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery Program makes 50,000 immigrant visas
(also known as Green Card) available through a lottery.

If you receive a visa through the Diversity Visa Program 2014:

  1. You will be authorized to live and work permanently in the United States.
  2. You will be allowed to bring your spouse.
  3. You can bring with you any unmarried children under the age of 21 to the United States.
