DV-2014 Eligible Countries

While DV-2013 green card lottery applications are being processed,
the speculations are commencing regarding the list of countries that will be
eligible for next year's Green Card Lottery - DV-2014.

The list of countries that are eligible to submit applications
is determined each year and there are usually very minor changes to the list.

The eligible country list for the green card Lottery visa program
is published on the internet by the U.S State Department after the
processing of the previous year's lottery applications has ended.

In DV-2010 Russia was finally accepted as an an eligible country
for the green card lottery program and has remained in the eligible
countries list ever since.

In DV-2012 there were no changes to the list of green card eligible
countries from the previous year (DV 2011).

In DV-2013 however, both Poland and Sudan were accepted as eligible
countries, while Bangladesh was removed from the list and is not longer eligible.

There is a lot of tension ahead of the announcement of the DV-2014 eligible countries
for submitting a green card application, and as soon as those are published, this page
will be updated with the information.
